When you first open StaffBuddy, you will see the dashboard. Here, you can access different types of information, which we will discuss below.
Notifications
You can access notifications you have received since your last check through the clock icon in the top corner. Click on the clock icon to read the notifications. You can also mark them as read.
Pending Actions
Under Pending Actions, you can get an overview of Engagements which still need to be completed or documents awaiting your signature.
Feed
Through the dashboard, you can access a feed, where postings can be made which all can see. You can interact with the postings by commenting or liking it. It is also possible to send a post to a specific department, which you can read more about below.
Creating a Post for the Feed
To create a new post, click View All > Click the plus icon in the right corner to write your post. At the bottom of the screen, you can add an image, link, or document. You can also determine who the target audience of your post is by clicking All at the bottom right. Then, you can select a specific department by disabling the slider under All Departments and selecting the department from the dropdown list. In this way, only the employees in that department will receive the post. In addition, you can disable the option for others to comment on your post. Finish by clicking Save.
