This guide will explore how you can access Engagements through the employee data card.
Engagement overview
When you click on an employee's data card and head to the menu option Engagements, you will find an overview of all the Engagements that are assigned to the employee in question.
Click on one of the two categories (Standard or Employee Development Plan) to expand their contents. This gives you an overview of all the active engagements. You can also sort them by Completed Engagements. Click on the engagement you wish to learn more about to see how much of the engagement the employee has completed.
In the following sections we will guide you through the contents of the categories Standard Engagements and the Engagement for Employee Development Plans.
Engagement: Standard
Different information is available if you have assigned a standard engagement to an employee.
Click on the Engagement you have sent out. The overview lets you choose between Employee, E-mail log, and Logs. Below the tab Employee you can see the completion status of the engagement in percentage. Click on Results to Generate a PDF that you can save for later use.
Clicking on the tab E-mail log lets you see when the link for the engagement was sent out via e-mail. The tab Logs lets you see who created the Engagement Builder in question, who has accessed it, and when.
Engagement: Employee Development Plan
To access an employee's response to your employee development interview engagement, go to the employee's data card. Staff managers can add comments and notes to each question of the Engagement. Learn more about the Engagement options here: Create Engagements.
How to assign an Engagement
Click on Assign Engagement. Next, you choose the Engagement you wish to launch. Set a starting date (the day you want the employee to receive the engagement), a deadline as well as a reminder. You decide whether the employee should receive the engagement via e-mail or SMS by clicking on Channel.
If you need another employee to fill out the engagement rather than the employee in question, you can edit this by clicking on Recipient. This means that the newly added recipient will receive the Engagement instead of the employee. The Engagement will still be visible on the employee's data card.
The field E-mail allows you to adjust the title and text that you wrote when you created the Engagement. Finally, you have the option of sending the Engagement to the employee's secondary e-mail. If you do not choose to do so, the Engagement will be send to the primary e-mail of the employee. Additionally, you can deactivate two-factor authentication. Finish the action by clicking Send.
