How can we help? 👋

Announcements, Personalised Widgets, and Translations

In this section we'll guide you through AnnouncementsPersonalised Widgets, and Translations.

Unlike other settings, these are unnecessary for you to start with HR-ON Staff. Therefore, you may skip these settings for now, and return to them at a later point.

This illustration shows where you'll find these settings:

Announcements

In the system, you have the option to set up announcements. Examples of how to utilize this function could be if you want to invite your employees to an annual summer event or reminders for employees to submit their holiday requests before a specific date.

You can create an announcement by clicking Create announcement. A window will open, and here, you fill in the fields. You can choose if the announcement should appear in a pop-up when employees access the platform or if you simply want it to appear under the Notification icon in the top right corner.

Personalized Widgets

The function Personalised Widgets is connected to the Dashboard. An example of a personalised widget could be a link to your company's staff manual.

You can create personalized widgets by clicking Add personalized widget. This will open a window with three steps.

Step 1 covers the actual content of the widget. If you want to link to a website or the like, click on Add a button to the widget.

Step 2 is designing the widget. In this step you can adjust it to match your preferences.

Step 3 is a preview. The preview shows you what your personalised widget will look like on your dashboard. Read more about Dashboard Properties.

Translations

This setting is only relevant if you wish to use the platform in languages other than Danish - for example, if you have international employees.

The fields you create on the platform (custom fields) will not automatically be translated into other languages. Therefore, you are required to translate these fields under the Translations settings.

If you wish your platform to be set up for more languages, please contact our Customer Success team.

Step 1 is completed, and we will move on to Step 2 on employees.
