In this guide, we will go through how to use the tool to register your working hours, also known as time tracking.
To use the tool, you must first enable it on your account. To do this, go to Settings > Company > Settings > Time Tracking > Check the box Enable time registration.
Next, you need to activate permissions for the role that will manage time tracking - creating projects, attendance types, break types, etc.
You can do this by going to Settings > Permissions > Go to the Company level > Select the role you want to assign permissions to > Scroll down to Time Registration > Give read and write access (pencil icon) for each item you wish to use.
Now, refresh the page by clicking:
- Windows/Linux: Ctrl + Shift + R
- Mac: Command + Shift + R
You will now see the green Start time tracking button at the top of the window.

You can configure time tracking under the Time Tracking menu here so your employees can use the tool in HR-ON Staff as you want.
